Coast Line Credit Union, originally chartered as Railroad Workers Credit Union of Maine, was organized in 1927 to serve the employees of the Maine Central Railroad Company and/or Portland Terminal Company. In 1996 the name of the credit union was changed to Coast Line Credit Union to reflect its expanded field of membership.
Today, Coast Line Credit Union is a full-service financial institution. We offer a wide variety of savings and loan products for our members. Membership is open to all persons who live, work, worship or attend school in Cumberland, Sagadahoc or York County, employees of three railroad companies, and their family members.
Our mission is to be the financial institution of first choice to our members.
